Why can't I just reuse my old dust boots during a rebuild?
Dust boots are wear items subjected to thousands of heat cycles and constant movement. Once a caliper is disassembled, the old boots have likely lost their elasticity and may have micro-tears invisible to the naked eye. Reusing them is a false economy that risks a costly caliper seizure and brake failure down the road.
What are the signs of a failed dust boot?

Are these compatible with your Racing Series calipers?
No. Our Racing Series calipers (TR, DRT series, etc.) are designed without dust boots to accommodate ultra-high-temperature race seals. These silicone boots are specifically for our street-performance calipers (EB, ES, SL, EMB, etc.) that are machined with grooves to accept a dust boot.
