This Vehicle-Specific Rear Big Brake Kit is built as the rear counterpart to a front BBK on Toyota Tundra XK50/XK70 trucks, restoring proper brake bias and stability when you’re towing or hauling real weight.
Front-only upgrades can make the truck pitch forward and feel edgy under hard stops with a trailer, tools, or a loaded bed. This 4-piston forged caliper and 365 mm high-carbon rotor system is tuned to complement a front big brake kit on Tundra, adding rear thermal capacity and helping the truck stay level and controlled when you’re coming down a long grade with a load behind you.
These specs show how the rear system is matched to the Tundra’s size, towing use, and front BBK options. The piston area is set to bring the rear axle back into the mix under heavy braking, while the oversized rotor increases heat capacity for repeated stops with a camper, boat, or car trailer in tow.
