The Engineering: Why It Feels So Much Better

The difference in pedal feel comes down to structural rigidity. The ES6 caliper is designed to directly solve the stock system's flaws:

1. Rock-Solid Pedal Feel

The ES6 is forged from aluminum alloy (not cast iron) and features integrated stiffening bridges. This massive increase in rigidity eliminates caliper flex—the #1 source of that "mushy" pedal feel. When you press the pedal, the force goes directly into the pads.

2. Progressive Modulation

We use an asymmetric piston layout (small, medium, large pistons). This ensures even pressure distribution across the pad surface, giving you a smooth, linear pedal that is easy to modulate in traffic but offers bite when you need it.

3. Thermal Management

Stock solid rotors heat up quickly. Our 355mm (14.0") 2-piece high-carbon rotors feature curved internal vanes that pump air through the disc, shedding heat rapidly to prevent fade during spirited driving.

BMW G20 Upgrade FAQ

1. Does this affect the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)?

No. Our rear kit uses an enlarged 343mm 2-piece rotor and a relocation bracket for your factory rear caliper. This means you retain your factory caliper, EPB motor, and full parking brake functionality.

2. Will this fit my factory 18-inch wheels?

This specific kit uses 355mm rotors, which typically require 19-inch wheels for clearance. If you wish to keep your factory 18s, please contact us for our compact 4-piston kit options.

3. Will this trigger a brake wear sensor warning?

No. The TTSPORT ES6 calipers are designed to accept standard BMW brake wear sensors. Your dashboard indicators will function exactly as they did from the factory.
